Peer Intervention Program – PIP
Based on profound respect for the child, Rainbow Kids Achievement Center Peer Intervention Program designs its educational curriculum to encourage the growth of the whole child, balancing the enhancement of self-esteem with the development of pre-academic and socialization skills. Our purpose is to provide children with educational and socialization skills to better prepare them for successful inclusive learning opportunities.

Our classroom philosophy is rooted in a traditional and structured format yet embraces a fusion of developmental styles designed to enhance overall learning. Rainbow Kids Achievement Center values each child as a unique human being to be respected, guided, nurtured, challenged and empowered to reach his or her full potential.

Rainbow Kids Achievement Center Peer Intervention Program (PIP) is a private pre-academic, socialization and pragmatic program designed to meet the individual needs of children ages 18 months to 5 years of age who demonstrate developmental delay, as well as typical development.

Programs are facilitated and taught by master’s level and credentialed Early Childhood Special Education Teachers. All classes are provided with additional classroom consultation by a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and/or BCBA. Typical age peers from the community are provided each day for the Preschool and Pre-K programs to ensure appropriate peer socialization and modeling.
